As Australia swelters through our hot summer it is important you drink lots of water and keep your red wine cool. As we all know, reds are drunk at room temperature. It is important to remember however, this is room temp in France, not Australia. If you have a temprature controlled fridge, great! Otherwise the most practical way of achieving this is by sticking them in the fridge for half hour or so before drinking. This will lower the temperature of the wine to 16 to 18 degrees and good for drinking. If you can hang out for that long you will be rewarded.
