2015 John Rooks Rosé

2014 was an exceptional year for our Rosé vineyard. This purpose made, Shiraz based Rosé is a serious wine with plenty of body. If you're thinking light and thin when it comes to Rosé, think again. This is a wine that matches beautifully with a range of foods and is delicious to drink on its own on a hot summer's day.

Colour: Intense Ruby.
Nose: Aromas of strawberries and cream with a hint of white pepper.
Palate: Full bodied yet crisp and refreshing. Sweet berry fruits to start with a lovely dry finish.
Food Match: Grilled king prawns and roasted pork belly, Grilled marinated baby octopus, Whole baked stuffed rainbow trout, vine ripened tomato and basil farfalle.
